ARSP 2017 Data Summary Report

The DOH-ARSP implements an antimicrobial resistance surveillance on aerobic bacteria from clinical specimens. The surveillance collects culture and antimicrobial susceptibility data from its 24 sentinel sites and 2 gonorrhoeae surveillance sites. These sentinel sites participate in an external quality assessment scheme (EQAS) conducted by the reference laboratory to ensure quality of laboratory results. ARSP celebrates 30th Anniversary

As part of the celebration of the Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Program’s (ARSP) 30th Anniversary, the RITM Antimicrobial Response Surveillance Reference Laboratory (ARSRL) hosted the annual meeting and research forum with the theme “Push on and Engage in the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance: our Legacy” on May 30, 2018 at the Acacia Hotel Manila.
