National Measles Laboratory
The National Measles Laboratory (NML) of the Department of Virology was designated as the National Reference Laboratory for Measles and other exanthemata by the Department of Health in 2000.
National Poliovirus Laboratory
The National Poliovirus Laboratory provides support and technical expertise to the Acute Flaccid Paralysis Surveillance of the Department of Health by providing virologic evidence of the lack of circulating Poliovirus in the country.
WHO Collaborating Centre (WHOCC) for Malaria Diagnosis
The Department of Parasitology, officially designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre (WHOCC) for Malaria Diagnosis in June 2011, is the first, and until now, remains the only laboratory in the institute that holds this notable recognition.
